Ingredients
150 gram Old Dutch Gouda
150 gram Self-raising baking flour
75 gram nut mix, unsalted
75 gram butter
100 ml milk
2 eggs
1 tea spoon Provencal herbs
salt and pepper
low cake tin ø 24 cm
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 175°C (hot air 155°C). Grate the cheese and finely chop the nuts. Keep about 3 tablespoons of grated cheese separately. Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Beat the eggs with the milk. Add the melted butter and beat with a mixer until smooth. Add the baking flour, grated cheese and chopped nuts. Season with salt, pepper and provençal herbs. Whisk everything well for another 3 minutes until a smooth batter. Fill the cake tin with the batter and smooth the top. Sprinkle the rest of the grated cheese over the quiche. Bake the quiche until tender and golden brown for about 30 minutes.
